What are blank magnets made from?

What blank magnet shapes can I order?
The calculator can be used to order square, rectangular, oval, and circle magnetic blanks. Enter the dimensions and select the shape and material appropriate for your project.
Can I use these blank magnets on a vehicle?
Yes, when the magnet is installed on a clean, smooth, flat, magnet-receptive steel surface. Keep both the magnet and vehicle surface clean and dry, and remove and reapply the magnet periodically. Curved, textured, damaged, or nonsteel panels may reduce or prevent proper holding power.
Will blank magnets stick to every vehicle?
No. Magnetic sheeting will not attach to aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, glass, carbon fiber, or other nonsteel panels. Some vehicles contain a combination of steel and nonsteel body panels, so test the exact installation area with a household magnet before ordering.
Can I print directly onto the blank magnetic sheeting?
Standard white magnetic sheeting is designed for compatible wide-format printing and sign-making applications. Confirm compatibility with your printer, inks, and production process before printing.
Can blank magnets be used for sublimation or with a heat press?
No. These blank magnets are not suitable for sublimation or heat-press applications. They are made from flexible vinyl and rubber magnetic sheeting, which can be damaged, warped, or melted by heat. They also do not have the polyester coating required for sublimation printing.
Do you offer metallic, reflective, or dry erase blank magnets?
Yes. Available options include standard colors, metallic finishes, reflective magnetic sheeting, and Indoor Dry Erase White. Available colors and finishes may depend on the size and shape selected.
Which blank magnetic material works with dry erase markers?
Only the Indoor Dry Erase White material is dry erase marker receptive. It is intended for indoor applications. Standard white, metallic, and reflective materials are not dry erase surfaces.
Why do metallic blank magnets larger than 24 inches ship in two pieces?
Metallic magnetic materials have specific handling and shipping limitations. A metallic blank larger than 24 inches in either width or height will be manufactured and shipped in two sections. The sections are cut to align cleanly when installed.
Are custom-cut blank magnets returnable?
No. Blank magnets ordered through this calculator are custom cut using the dimensions, shape, material, and color selected by the customer. Because custom products cannot be resold, these orders are final and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
What if I need a size, shape, or magnetic product that is not listed?
